500X My venezia blue cross plus

Introduction

Hello.
A lot of you may know me from the punto mk1 section as my main focus is my exploit yellow punto 75 elx, however I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Venezia blue 500x 1.6 multijet cross plus.

I'm no stranger to the 500x as I'm the fiat/ abarth specialist at my local fiat dealer and was at the international launch of the 500x in Turin a couple of years ago.

Plans for the car, well today I had it professionally detailed, I've put my private plate on and removed the plastic plate plinths p that I can put the shorter plates on it, and also have ordered some 35mm lowering springs for it, so interested to see how it'll look with them on it.
Also, I may buy a set of mopar fiat mudflaps for the us version but I'm undecided on them as of yet.
I have also freshened up the calipers with silver paint and cleaned and sealed the inside of the alloys, as well as a set of genuine 500x mats

Some pics of the mk1, my dads 500L and my 500x....
"My original rear ones that come off we’re like new- no scores or that and that’s after 16,500 miles.

But yeah I have noticed a few that have come into work have been all rusty etc and really scabby"

Do you think it would be a warranty issue then if they were scored and pitted badly after 15000 miles and 18 months?

Just ordered a brand new 595 abarth turismo to replace the 500x as I got a staff deal on it.

As much as I love the 500x, it’s not being used a lot as I walk to work and when I do use it, it throws up airbag errors and handbrake errors etc, as I do so little mileage and the car doesn’t get enough time to charge.

So back to a petrol for me, and my wife and I both lived my old abarth, and her fiesta is big enough for what we need.

Anyone want to buy a mint set of Alfa horseshoe alloys?

Hey @simon_16vpunto , I have a 500x 1.6 diesel cross plus, 16 plate, same color.
The last few weeks it feels like a caliper is sticking. Fuel consumption through the roof and heavy when accelerate.
I am having issues identifying the right caliper as they are coming up with two sizes on the piston when looking online, 57 and 60.
I see you know a lot of things about this model and I was hoping maybe you can help me identifying the right one.
Thanks.

I have no idea sorry, as my car had 2.0 multijet 4x4 brakes on it from the factory for some reason.
Fiat seem to fit what they have lying about.

I’d phone your local fiat dealer with the chassis no and they should tell you.
Good luck
