Panda (Classic) Poppi - The Preserved Panda

Stripes are soon to be done in the next couple of weeks. Just got rid of the Corsa so the money we got from that is paying to get all the little bits done, also having the wheels done too next month. Watch this space !!!

of course with all that wax you'll put the stripes on, step away to admire your handiwork, and they'll just slide gracefully off again

Oh I have hidden the wax now so John can not find it. The Plan is to have all the stripes removed and replaced as one of the stripes goes across the bonnet vent and has started to lift. We also have to remove the 1000CL badge as it is in line with where the stripes go down the boot. Just need to find a place locally that will do the stripes.

We was going to try getting them done this weekend but we are off to friends in Ashford as Poppi is being used in a fun day thing to rase money for a nursery "how many balloons in a panda" I feel a now thread coming on. Pictures to follow

Can't they cut the stripes to fit around the 1000CL badge a bit like they do when sign writing BSM learner cars

Probably but think it would look better removed and fitted on top. Plus the badge is kind of off set to the stripe

Thanks for the comment. Oh trust me my other half cant handle a dirty car. Kind of works out well as I just drive them and make them dirty and he cleans them. I aint stupid.

Thought I would add these couple of pictures of Poppi sporting her wheel trims and with no stripe as most you lot know we decided to have it done again. Not sure if to have it the same as before or maybe one thick and one thinner stripe.

Would have had the wheels done but with what it has just cost us to get her back on the road they will have to wait a while. wheels underneath look ok but they were painted with a brush so you could see the brush marks, So maybe in time the wheels will get a new lease of life.

Well I have to admit, in the pic's the car looks better without the hub caps, but if they're as you say with the brush marks then the caps must be a better look in the flesh.

She Might look good with no hubcaps but just the small black caps like the old 4x4s had
