Grande Punto col7104's Grande T-Jet

Introduction

Well, the ten week wait was certainly worth it :D. Coming from the Seicento this thing feels like a Roller or something hehe, though I find the seats give me a backache after a few hours of motorway driving.

Optional sub was well worth it - you're not going to get real deep bass from it (for you audiophiles) but for what I need it for it's perfect.

Has an annoying rattle when going over bumps, coming from behind me...need to look into that one.

But on the whole, love it. Here's a few pics to get the ball rolling, though if you've seen one you've seen them all...

LOL wouldn't want to use that as a hairdryer...flames and sh!t come out of there  (well...hopefully:D)

Also experienced my mate's Forge-braced GP. Liking the effect but not paying £45 or whatever they are for two bits of stainless bar! Went to the local metal merchant and picked up the materials I need for £20, fixings included :slayer:. Just need to get under the car now to take some measurements and drill the holes.

Didnt know they were, just new they were ugraded from stock tjet ones.

What's the latest dude, any of the new Abarth tuning goodies been fitted yet, if so are you pleased with the upgrade? *silly question* :D

He is waiting for the exhaust being finished, which takes a bit longer than expected.

:yeahthat:

Waiting for a full stainless system which is currently being fabricated. The cat will be relocated to underneath the car (as opposed to in the downpipe).

In the meantime, I bought Roadhawk. Ever since my crash (in the Sei) I've wanted such a system because it took so long to prove I was not at fault. I think something like this would have cut down the time drastically. Heard about this as an alternative to T-Eye (which isn't that aesthetically pleasing) on the LL thread. It arrived this morning and is now fitted. (y)

Unclipped this bit:

Hasn't gone back in very well mind you LOL. Need to take another look at it.

Nice and discreet wiring:

Using some winding wire to pull the power cable through:

Took the ignition live from the cig socket as I notice GPs don't have a switched feed on the stereos.

It's fused, soldered, heatshrinked and self-almagamating taped :)D) - what an absolute pig it is trying to solder three wires together down in that space, but got there in the end.

And thar she blows:
