Cinquecento The Cinq

Introduction

here we go!, time to introduce my car to the Members motors section ;).

The car itself is well known by alot of members on here, it's been on the forum for a long time and owned by many members (y)

I've now had it for about a month and its already been a bit of a rollercoaster, but the few lows have been heavily outweighed by the highs :D

I've spent the past few weeks sorting little problems, and getting her to the Fiat-scotland meet at Stirling (although that was touch and go! :eek:)

so anyways... here she is, a 1998 Cinq sporting, some of the specs are

Hormann front and rear bumpers
Abarth Side skirts
14" Compomotive mo alloys
Lowered (i think by 40mm but may be lower)
Punto Gt brakek upgrade, and rear disc conversion
1242 8v engine upgrade
Tricker 40mm tb
Induction kit
Omp upper front strutbrace
sei mpi clear coolant header tank
Recaro Bucket seats (from what i can find, they were in 2.8 ford capri's from 1984-87)

oh, and lots of other little bits, and unique talking points (y), already got my plans for he next few little tweaks, but heres some pics of how shes stands right now :)

Thanks :) shes running really well atm :) still a couple of little jobs to do in the short term, but she's getting there nicely :D

i changed the clutch just before the stirling meet, in fact, thats the reason it was touch and go if i was going to make it!, the gearbox was still off and i was waiting for some parts with less than a day till setting off time! ;)

Hope the puntos going well and you and adz are enjoying it :)

All is good :D perhaps the clutch cable needs adjusted a fraction still, but its ok for now :) it wasnt a bad job getting it all put back together and cleaned in 3 hours!!, god my back was sore that night before stirling tho!, too much work in too short a time for me! lol

I tell you something i wouldn't mind paying labour at a Stealer if your on the job :D unlike some :rolleyes: i would like to know where they get there book times for a job at times:mad::confused:
