Thought I would post some photos of my lovely polished car, just spent 5 hours doing a 3 stage Meguiers polish including a clay rub and then all the glass and plastics.

Seeing as it has been 20deg C today I have sweated my Knackers off doing an impression of Karate Kid in the street.

Tell you what I was about to punch the next person that walked past and said "you will polish that car away if you rub any harder".

Anyway hope you like the piccies and I must say the sun tonight as it was setting was fantastic for getting the colours to come out.. granted I have tidied them up a touch in photo shop and done a couple of arty ones just to show the car of a little.

Have to say that the Meguiers polishes are the best I have ever used... cant belive the depth of shine Ive got out of the paint.. also got rid of the horrid swirls which Ive never managed with any other polish range.

Shame the great big split on the bonnets paint shows up so much with the polishing.

Just need the paint sorting and some nice new wheels and a little suspension dropping and a remapand she will be complete.

is the skyroof on the multi-wagon longer than the regular ones on 3/5 door? looks huge to me, like missle silo doors.

Nice polishing job :D I've just waxed my 3 door after a similar process, but I'm not posting piccies yet

As dan-the-man observes you've the "new" wipers on the car, how have you got on with them?

there was a Cat D stilo multiwagon JTD 115 (I thinK), with no glass roof, basic inside, but did have AC.
in my local breakers yard/selling cars yard.
on a 53 plate,52kmiles, needed bonnet, 1wing (other could be sorted out) and a bumper, and then sprayed, so maybe £800 if you did it well.

how much.;)

£1595!!!!!

I was seriously thinking of buying it, but the rear drivers side footwell was pushed upwards where they'd lifted it with a forklift:rolleyes:

otherwise I'd have bought it right then and there :(
