hi i have just bought a 1997 marea weekend td100 i do like it and its good on diesel
it has a few problems red key dose not start the car but the blue one dose, boot dose not open from the outside so i have installed a electric boot release, door lock a bit stiff so i have installed remote central locking, the drivers side front shock is dead, the steering rack has very slight play. i will sort all of these in the next few months when i have some cash.
but today the fan belt came off due to the adjuster fell apart, so cant use it until i can get the part but its a cheap fix anyway.
the thing i cant figger out is when i pull away there is like a clicking noise, it dose it when the revs are very low round 1000 to 1300 revs and it sometimes dose it when i start it and turn it off. and the driveshafts are fine.
i know what your thinking but i got it cheap very cheap.
