A section of my exhaust is going to need replacing soon and need to know exactly the name of the part, its a small section maybe a catalyst (not sure if these have them!), so from turbo, down, bend, straight and then this box about 18 inches - 2ft long, can anyone confirm if this is the cat and is it the only one on the car.

Not 100% about the 125TD but most systems are similar. The cat will be the first box you come to from the engine end. It is usually flat on the Bravo/a and Marea range. It will be approx under the front seats. Not all diesels in the range have cats.
There should also be two rear boxes, approx under rear seats and boot.
There will only be one cat on the car.
