could anyone tell me if this is the type of gadget I need to tow a caravan with my Marea JTD 110

Yes!

that relay for the lights is wired like this:

the 12 S needs its own separate supply direct from the battery the smart con relay senses when the alternator is on (you set it by a small pentameter (spl) read small screw hole that you tweak with a screw driver so after the car has been turned off it senses that there is no charge coming from the alternator and cuts off

That way when you park in a service station the caravan fridge and battery charger are disconnected to avoid a flat battery on the car..

for the record the Gray wire on the 7N relay is for the reverse light and the [R] terminal needs to be connected to the reverse wire (yellow IIRC of the gray S cable)

I covered most Q's in it (y)

to make it easy you are going to need to take 2 wires though (one for the 12N and one for the 12S relays)

your best off having a good luck yourself if you trace the wireing loom from the fuse box near the battery they will pass through a large rubber grommet somewhere under the scuttle panel (the grill between the windscreen and bonet)

I use a bit of stiff wire (fencing wire for example with a sharp point) then push this through the grommet from the engine bay they stick your arm up behind the dash and feel for it pull a bit more though once you have it there tape your wire onto the stiff wire add a drop of washing up liquid to lube it up and pull it into the car....

dont forget to seal the hole with plenty of silicone..
