Well it has been well shown on many sites what the new Fiat 500 will look like but here is the sales presentation that has been leaked.

It seems that Fiat are trying to copy the mini idea of making all the cars have loads of different options. I really cant wait as i plan to get rid of the Seicento and buy one when they are available in the UK.

The launch date has now been brought forward from Sept 2007 to July 4th at the Frankfurt motorshow.

That actually leaked quite some time ago, however the official pictures are being released on the Fiat 500 site on Tuesday!!!! Can't wait! I hope I won't be disappointed!

I love the look of that wee car ,cant wait to see it in the flesh so to speak.

Does remind me of a Mini, but nevertheless quite cute and stylish - I prefer the white one as it looks classical..

just hope they dont copy mini prices and rip us all off. if they do, my next new fiat will be a panda.

I'm disapointed they're keeping the crome front bumper... sort of spoils the simplicity or the Trepiuno concept, but there we go!

was launched @ 12:00 last night if your a subcriber...

I am a subscriber... it's launching tonight at 9:00pm (GMT+1) til 12:00 midnight (GMT+1) hence 10:00pm til 01:00am... it says so on www.fiat500.com - unless you know otherwise?

Does this mean the first two 500's on the forum will both be in Cheltenham

But if they do go the way of the mini ie stupid prices then it will be a Panda for me too, or a used 100hp Panda !!!

Hopefully! If it looks pretty much like the Trepiuno concept and the interior is alright then I think so! Can't wait for the unveiling tonight...

I don't think it will have MINI prices, I don't think it has the prestige the MINI has, plus it's going head-to-head with the Ford Ka, and those start at 6k! Auto Express (as unreliable as they are) said they should start from 5k... more like 7, but it shouldn't be expensive. In-line with the Panda, if not slightly cheaper I'd say

The chrome bumper strips is unnecessary, ugly and makes it look like the 500 is wearing a moustache! Hopefully you'll be able to pull it off... or colour code it at least! I like the other subtle chrome details however.

I honestly don't think they will. I don't think Fiat can afford to sell it at the same price as the Grande Punto, alot of people would probably just go for the Punto as you'd get a heck of a lot more for you money. The 500s look pretty small. They'll prob be £500-800 less, well I hope so anyway. We'll soon find out though.
