Bought my son his first car which is a Fiat 1.2 Active 30,000 miles on the clock, having had one previous owner. Having had the car for a couple of months we tried to start it this morning and basically when turning the key there is an array of clicking noises, the dashboard lghits all come on but the car shows absolutely no sign of wanting to turn over or start. I've tried putting the car in gear and rocking it but this makes no difference. The clicking noises in he car are quiet worring so don't really want to keep turning the key.

Apologies if there is already a topic about this problem but could'nt find anything( I am new here lol). Can anyone help please, my son is gutted as he hasn't yet passed his test and already he has problems with his car - not a Good first Fiat experience!

Dead battery and/or poor earth contacts. Check battery to wing, gearbox to wing. Don't just look at them, take them off, clean them up, vaseline and re-connect.
