What is the best place to get show plates?

Also, if, per say , for example only, I wanted to get a new set of plates but didnt want to send off the documents, why couldn't I just buy show plates? Physically they would be exactly the same?

Ideally I want pressed plates in pre 71 colouring or german style, at a good price (<£25)

Edit: http://www.europlates.com/ may be in the US but prices seem OK.

Obviously would prefer a UK based supplier, or Europe, and ideally I want a black plate with silver writing.

I did use Google, I am no mere mortal, I just couldn't find anything suitable and cheap!
