Has the 1.8 HGT from a new punto been put in a Cinq yet? Does anyone know how much something like that would cost?

You may have the age old problem of the gearbox sitting where the passenger side front wheel wants to be. May be wrong though, go to a Fiat dealer (or find one sitting out on a forecourt) and measure up.

HGT is five cylinders is'nt??

Maybe a bit too wide and as pete said gearbox may want to sit where the wheel is.
Although if you got the money anything can be done

Thought the Punto HGT was 1.8 16v 4 cyl, Bravo/a HGT 2.0 20v 5 cyl.
