Me and my twin had some pictures taken yesterday and we've been given a CD with the pictures on. But the pictures all have "proof" written across them. Im guessing he's put this text on so we can't get them printed out elsewhere. Is there any way this writing can be removed in photoshop?!

unfortunately not.

I've seent he pic and it's jpegged, so you'd have to remove it pixel by pixel..
it wouldn't work

not when they're saved as jpegs, as the details of what was behind the watermark will have been saved over and lost

person providing the pics probably has them as seperate layers in photoshop or something

back on topic..... as ghost said, due to them being re-saved with the watermark attached, it becomes part of the pic, so unless u are really good with photoshop and are able to re-cover the watermark and make it look like the original pic, nothing can be done.

Hmmmm okies.... we've opted for the easy option and just asking the guy to print off the ones we like so they won't have the text scrawled all over them!

Tell him not to be such a tight arse and to hand over the images or you'll report him to the police for something.. I'm sure he'll have a skeleton in his closet!

Only in Yorkshire would someone charge for photos, then give you a disc with them watermarked so only he can print them.. Tight or what?
