its not illegal to park on pavement only illegal if you block it. but you may get done for criminal damage as they are made from softer stuff than roads and sink a little thats what makes puddles.

You're right Dave but it amounts to the same thing. They guy two doors down from us got a ticket (£30) for "causing an obstruction" but he was only half on, you could have got a big pram through easily. Still obstructing the pavement though isn't it

not if he took photo to show the room,
police tried to give me a parking ticket for obstruction, a road though not a pavement, i took it too court, they tried to use cctv against me, they didnt check it though, magistrates chucked the case out when the see busses could pass me with ease, and the only obstruction on the tape was the 3 police cars that stopped to give me 1 parking ticket

Dave, highway code states "you must not drive on the pavement at all" or similar.
