I don't mind the Fiat 500, i've driven 12 of them:p Oddly enough when learning to drive i had a new car every 1-2 weeks, all fiat 500's. They kept getting written off:p

Still can't get a hang of the electric steering etc. i tried to drive a punto the other day. turned the wheel and though it had broken. The steering wheel turned with no difference in resistance.

My current punto has no power steering and you know what's happening all the time.(y)

My grump. I offended my lecturer today(n) only way to get though to him i thought. Also got the help i was after though(y)

How he thinks that not helping a student seeking help is fair on everyone i don't understand. Him being over worked and not having the time to help everyone is understandable.

This is why I was trying to avoid any group work modules when picking for my final year, which I haven't been able to do :(

If they did that kind of crap at work they'd be reprimanded, or even sacked if they were in their first six or twelve months. At University they can just mess around and drag everyone else down as long as they get the minimum for a pass. Tutors are usually unwilling to help as you're meant to sort it out as a team, or if they do you risk losing marks and so are screwed anyway.
 
Today's grump, plebs buying up fuel, and the idiots in government that suggested everyone top up and fill a jerry can just in case. I suppose they needed something to distract everyone from the NHS being f****d.

I'll only need 20l to be able to drive back for Easter next weekend, but I can't brim it between now and next Thursday because my tank leaks a tiny bit when full, it's only 30l or so to start with and I'll use a bit of what I can put in driving to work and back before then :(

No date has been set yet so the soonest they can strike is the 9th of April.
 
I need to watch the new more.
I pulled into the petrol station after a 5 min que and saw that everyone was putting in less than £20:confused: I thought people were not allowed to fill up or something?

I fill up from empty anyway, go to pay and the guy had been watching me because i was the "odd one out":p no ones spending over £60?! what is this guy doing!?:p

I find out more than a day later via a web link on the FF that there is a potential strike for SHELL tanker drivers? My first thought when i saw the que was "wow it's busy today", ha ha. i had no idea
 
For those of you that follow my threads in motors, there probably won't be any updates with photos for the next 2 weeks as I gave it to my ladyfriend. Her phone needs to be sent off to be fixxxored and as she's going on holidays and meteor doesn't do roaming very well, I offered her one of my phones. One just like this actually... I might use the E5 if I get another card in time :) I'm a Nokia whore :nerner:

The grump part is I won't get to see her for the next 2 weeks, she comes back just 2 days after I'm gone for a week! I have a course to do you see... The 2 things clashed, what can one do! :shrug:

So naturally I'm quite sad at the moment! :(:cry::cry::cry:

Just tried to get some car insurance quotes :mad:

WTF?! it's worse every year?! :bang:

It's beyond a joke, with another years no claims the price has gone UP not down:mad: Just like last year i cannot afford the insurance cost if i can't get it down and the temptation of going uninsured it is though the roof:mad:

Even with an excess twice the value of the car it's still well over £1200:cry:
grrrr

Of course i would never drive uninsured, but i'm sure you can see the problem. being priced out of driving. Sadly i cannot get to uni via train or bus easily, so if i cant get insurance i will have to get a taxi everyday(n) £80 one way:cry:
