Im close to ordering a (ahem Skoda) Fabia vRS :p If ordered now it would arrive mid-May when i'll have the money to pay for it ;)

They come in black, silver, yellow or red. Dont want another black car (pain in the ass to keep clean) and yellow stands out too much. Cant decide on red or silver, love them both and suit the car well.

If I got silver I wouldnt spec the car with anything due to extra met paint cost, but if I got red i'd probably have one with xenon lights or something.

I know I should post on another forum, but I trust you lot :D :p

Any views?

You're not going to like me saying this.....
I am rapidly going off silver cars like most people due to every other car beig silver. Some cars suit silver still, some really don't. I feel it doesn't :s

But the red isn't a colour that stands out as much as I think your new car should....

I would say black (which I know you would love to hear me saying :p)

Of the two, Definately the red... it looks great. My mate's octavia is that red and I think it looks brilliant. Silver is just too common for my liking.

But overall I'd definately go for black if it were me, but like you said a pain to clean.

I think you should go for black TBH, but of the rest it's got to be red. Every other car is bloody silver these days, and yellow doesn't suit the car. :)

Why is it that only puntos can pull off bright yellow well? Anyone else think all other cars in yellow look horrible?

I dunno why, but its true. Only Italian cars look decent in yellow - and even then only a few can pull it off, i.e. Cinq, Sei, Punto, Ferrari 360 ;)

Id say silver cos its easier to keep clean, and if it gets keyed, it doesnt show up as much....as i have discovered

My missus has a fabia..only a comfort one tho! shes not up to VRS territory yet! Nice car!

Agree about the yellow and but i'll add to the list of cars that look good- Seat Leon Cupra R lol

I had a feeling you were going to say black  They do look nice but id like a change and black vRSs are like silver cars- alot of people have them.

Thx for replies :)

Im thinking silver because of this reason. Its a 'safer' colour for a car, but doesnt look as sporty as the red!! I'll never decide...........

Apologies, it will have to be blac:

Edit: removed pic, I expect Stu running 1600x1200 would have a problem viewing it!

Hang on! If you get silver, then all the knobs and dials of the interior im gathering will be silver too, so you want the car to match up, hence why you shudnt get red :D

Look at that a silver gearlever thingy!! :p

Personally id rule red out right now!!

I admit black does look good but im a silver man. Think of when you come to sell it too if yu ever did, everyone knows black depreciates more than silver ;)

Well generally silver cars keep their money if it suits the car. BUT with the number of silver cars (even my parents own one!) it's getting like it might change to be the other way around.

I am really unsure, silver may look better but I might have red over silver to look different but red looks just so, boring???

BLACK BLACK BLACK!

btw WR, if you buy the car, lexus lights are banned, got it?

Assuming as Wolfrace said that he's not going for black, I'm still going for red as the next best thing. There are loads of silver fabias everywhere, I don't think it's a stock colour but it must be a very popular upgrade.

On the other hand the red is a bit different - there used to be loads of red cars everywhere but for some reason not any more. You hardly ever see a red Skoda, it stands out and it looks good. Silver looks ok but people won't know it's a Vrs, everyone has silver skodas. My dad's octavia is blue (a standard colour), I think it looks good but so many people pay more for silver that you don't see many blue ones - I think the same goes for Fabias and red.
