Hey everyone its nearly time for my very own Euro trip (a week sunday), my gf and I are taking the ferry from Hull-Rotterdam and spending just about a week in Holland. We have three full days and are planning to visit Amsterdam/Rotterdam and The Hague on each day.

Now were pretty well sorted for things to do in Amsterdam, but can anyone recommend places to go/see in Rotterdam and The Hague(maybe even Delft too!).

So far for Rotterdam we may take in an evening cruise on the Pankenboot (sp?)

Any recommendations?

Dont think there is that much to see in rotterdam i worked there for a few months never got to do much sight seeing there is the KPN tower that has green lights alover the side it is like a massive l.e.d scroler like u see in shop windows. there is the old lift bridge and a new ish one they are quite good to look at nere the old bridge there is are offices above a butter factory i worked on that building cant miss it it has a giand basket ball hoop on the side. there is funny houses that look like rubix cubes stood on the point.last thing i can think of is a tower block with a big sloping side that jacki chan aparently slid down in a film or so i was told
these are all in the same area i dont know any other areas of rotterdam as i was living in utrect and traveling to rotterdam every day so like i said didnt get to see much

I worked in Rotterdam for a few years and there are many places to go especially on an evening if you want it very lively then there is the Ski Hut or if you want a quiet drink then down by the river there are lots of nice bars and the cube houses. There are a couple of really good argentine steak houses and my favourite restraunt is the small italian restraunt right by the central station

Sight seeing there is the Euro mast and you can do the river taxi's and as its supposedly summer there is the beach (a man made one by the river)

Also watch your valubles especially around the station area and on the trains

edit forgot to add if you pick up a tourist map it even shows you where to hookers are

im not sure where they are but they arnt far from that lift bridge they are behind that tower with the sloped side. i never went to see them i could just see them from the top of the building i was working on.
I think i heard about that italian restaraunt mentiond earlier its supposed to be well nice. (y)im getting hungry now

Going to have a search on google but I hope theres this greaty bar still open in Rotterdam. Think it lived under the road leading up to one of the bridges - called Dueling Piano's or something? Had two pianos playing covers of all sorts of music!
