Tried swapping the cables over, turning off, LNB power on and off, Power Cycles, Got a mate round with another box and it's still not locking, even did a new install, but it won't do it because it can't find the transponder! :(

So looks like a new LNB!

Even got the Multimeter out and checked the cabling and that's fine!

Oh and yeah I've got Sky+

I made a boo boo at work and it could cost the company a fair bit of money. Im not totally to blame because my job is just a small part of a big process but it doesnt stop me feeling like ****.

All of this imo is because of the need for big companies to cut costs to please share holders and creditors. When will the uk learn that you have to speculate to acumulate. Doing things cheaply costs more in the long run.

Couldn't agree more.
They think dumping more work on fewer people makes for better efficiency, when all it does is make fewer people more stressed and more prone to mistakes.

i could go on for a month about how our clients are throwing money down the drain due to trying to spend less money. India would feel the main bulk of my wrath at this present moment. The whole world has gone plc crazy. The whole idea of PLC is flawed. How does working to pay dividends to people who bring nothing to a company apart from a bit of cash help make for a good product. At this moment in time people arnt geting their bonuses or pay increases to keep shareholders happy. Have the shareholders put blood sweat and tears into making the company great? No so why are shareholders being kept sweet over boosting moral and thus fore productivity of staff to pay for the dividends.
Its all backward i tell you its all bloody backward.

Stupid incompetent trainees  wasting an hour of my time while i looked for something they had lost, only to turn round and say I've found it at the end of that hour!!!! :bang: Taking me past the end of my shift!!

Then it took me two hours to finish my work!!! Meaning I worked for free, because it paid back the two hours i owed them when i was just hoping they would forget about it!!!(n)

To top it all off I cant even smoke to make myself feel better!!!!!!! Hate quitting!!!!!!!

Mine's fine :p

But then again the heaviest thing I've lifted today was a laptop box and I've spent most of my day imaging machines :D

I wish my job was that easy :bang:.

I've spent most of the day diagnosing a bug with Sharepoint Services bundled with SBS Server 2008 .

Why doesn't anything from Microshaft work as it should until at least 3years of product use and multiple "service packs" later :bang: (with the exception of Windows 7 :slayer:).

I installed Windows 7 on the wifes PC tonight and I must say I'm impressed. When I tried the beta I just didn't give it enough time and it just didn't gel for me. Now I just need to buy a copy for my PC!

Are you getting support? There's a massive range of stop smoking services out there to fit in with your lifestyle (y)
The kind of support I'd need to stop smoking would entail me closing my eyes and leaning back, relaxed against your wonderful, shapely, holy cow the wife's coming back........................................
