A few people are aware that me and H are moving.

House is up on the market now and we have put an offer in for a another property.

We have been looking around at other houses anyway just for a look and they are really tiny if you look at a new build and really strangley set out.

We looked at a detached yesterday and has a lounge/diner

When we got there and looked at the house the lounge/diner was big enough for a lounge but to stick a dining table and chairs was no room.

Its early days yet so hope we get the house we have put in a offer on but its really stressful looking and selling

iagree.Me granda has just moved from a bigish house to a bungalow, its been quite stressful, he wants it set out as everything was in the house.

is that the one you showed me pics of that you put the offer in on?

its not easy to get the right house, damn expensive too if things fall through after you've started surveys, solicitors etc.

weve been house hunting for well over a year, its not funny sold our house 3 times and tried to buy three, fell through and now looking again.

hope you find what your looking for soon

Angel - yes thats the house.

Hs should sell pretty quickly - but cos we havent a buyer the house we are after they have "noted our interest" so will have to see what happens

You see now why I like the way the Scots do it - so little chance of it falling through. Good luck with your buying, selling and moving, having just been there myself (though I'm not buying at this point), I know how stressful it can be - plus you have H to look after and organise as well If you need a hand with the physical stuff further down the line, give me a shout

Same here, luckily I'm 1st time buying so no messing about selling, plus the seller isn't actually buying another house, so in theory this should be as easy as it gets!

However the conveyancing just drags on, and on, and on... 6 weeks so far, and heard next to bugger all other than drafts have been exchanged?! These bloody solicitors take the biscuit, for what they charge and in these days of emails, faxes etc etc they ought to have it all done in a week I tell thee!

Hope it all goes well BBS and Sammi, all be worth it in the end!
