what are other people around 23 paying for mjet insurance got quoted £692 which i think is a bit high ive got 3 years ncb and no points or convictions

yer all near the £1000 mark really thought it would have been a bit cheaper this year

What you got in that car, a Ferrari engine? When I got my Mjet 3 years ago (I was 22), my insurance quote was under £500, I have just renewed mine and I'm paying £291... I'd search other places, especially ones that you dont hear much of but specialize in young drivers. You see them in the back of the Auto Trader, and car magazines...

That's not too bad...

I'm paying about £450 - I'm 24 and have 6 years' no claims discount. Mine's parked in residents parking, in a good London area. My insurance was even more expensive when I lived with my parents, purely because they have a bad insurance postcode. When I moved, my renewal dropped by £200

most of the comparison sites are good as a starting point, but personally i find it better to go through a decent broker, best i got for a 1.9 tjet on a comparison site was £350 ! went through a broker and got it for £220
