Kwickfit - £330.65 minus £42 through quidco £288
Esure - £417 minus £45 through quidco £372
sheilas wheels - £356.93 minus £45 through quidco £311

In the event of the worst happening (here's hoping it does not) - they are completely s**te. I had issues with them just rolling over and not fighting my corner when I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. The other party (Direct Line representing) weren't even going to make a claim against my cover - but LV accepted liability without asking for my agreement and Direct Line cottoned on before doing so themselves and went with it. LV's indolence meant my NCD was set back two years. Not to mention increasing my premiums.

Best bit was - one claim almost increaded my premium 3 fold to £2,800 at renewal. I ditched them very fast!

Oh, and as the claim happened just before my renewal - I had to keep convincing them I was covered at the time of the claim each time I called for an update as I was with another insurer by the time they got off their arse and dealt with it.

ok, well i will get some more prices and give them a ring and see what they can do

chris knott couldnt beat my best price of £214.20. But they were very close!!! Will try a couple of others and go back to swift cover to see if they can beat my quote...

hastings essential were ok - £218 but still not as good as churchill especially with the free breakdown. so think i'll stick with churchill.
