Can anyone help, got new punto active sport with blaupunkt single slot cd player, sound is ok at low and mid range volume but when i turn it up to close to full the sound goes funny. Is this a stereo fault or speaker fault or maybe its just not man enough for the job.

Help me before I have to see my dealer, so i can go armed with some info so he can't fob me off.

The internal amps on factory fitted head-units are always s£*&te near full volume. Time to fit a nice new head unit! Plus with a new one, you've got the potential to upgrade your system to allsorts like amps+subs!
