so, im playing again and plan on changing my pioneer sub for a better one (want more excursion). my box is about 1.98 cubic feet with 2 ports and the driver.

im looking around the 500RMS level with an alpine amp, iv been looking at Alpine SWR-1242D. my main concern in choosing a bigger sub is needing a box, i cant go much bigger. unless i go half fiberglass and use arch space and measure volume with something..

any ideas on what to choose fellas?
