to save me the hassle of working it all out, what would i need to do to make the stilo connections to head units, work with another one, say a blaupunkt?

Just plug it in lol. Its standard ISO, you just need to plug the red into the spare yellow wire from the HU cables.

lol i "just plugged" in my blaupunkt from the punto....and nothing....not a spark...
what spare yellow do you speak of?? from memory there is a black a red and two very thin wires (i suspect CAN wires) and that is all!

Is it an aftermarket Blaupunkt. There should be One Ignition + (Yellow), Perm + (Red), Gnd (Black), Rem (Blue) maybe others but basically the Permanant Live needs to join onto the Ignition Live. Surely its the same as the punto.
I am talking about the HU's wires not the cars.

yeh, its an aftermarket, i made the loom on the punto...as someone nicely decided to break in an cut all the wires. i guess ill just figure it out with a multi meter tomorrow....

Mini blades, behind flap door by driver right knee (right of steering column).

Also a box next to battery

Unfortunatly so.

The Radio fuse is inside the car, the one by your knee. The list of fuses is in the handbook.
