I have the factory fitted head unit on my MK2 Punto. It's not great, i know, but for the moment i'm going to stick with it. I fitted new speakers (front, Sony) and want to connect a CD Changer. My problem: the connections. I know I good get a Blaupunkt that will fit right in, but i got a friend's cd changer almost new (a lot cheaper too ), with no interface, direct wires only. Next step: connecting it to the head unit, DIY that is. I've seen a connector in www.caraudiodirect.co.uk (PX603). Will it do, connecting directly the wires? If so, what wires will I need to connect? Will the head unit recognise the cd changer?[?]

It depends whether the cd changer is compatible with the headunit.
Do you know if thats the case?
If so then bare wiring it shouldn't be a problem.
