To start off with the speaker that are fitted in the rear are 6.5", i suggest in replacement that some sort of coaxial speaker would be the best type to replace the standards! NB: to make sure the magnets on the replacement speakers aren't too big as there isn't much room when fitted and you don't want them to rub onto the body of the car!

The sort of tools you will need:

Spanners, screw drivers, drill and socket set (with Torx ends)!

I will try to keep this simple (and not mumble on to much)

Side panel screws

You will need to lift the bottom part of the seat up and un-screw the Phillips type screws on the bottom of the rear side panel, there are 3!

Removing bottom of seat

Then you will need to take off the bottom part of the seat, you will need to use the socket set with a Torx end for this! Once this is removed you can get to the panel easier, I started by taking the single folding forward seat base out first!

Seat belt bolt

Also to get the panel off you will need to take off the bit that the seat belt is attached to on the floor, see the pictures! You just need to flick the cap off with a screw driver then un-bolt!

Removing floor panel

The panel on the floor along side the front seats, just pulls up as it is clips down! You need to pulls the end of this up near the rear as the panel for the rear overlaps underneath this slightly!

Removing rear seat

Then all that is left is to take out the back of the rear seat; NB: you might not have to do this if you are carefully at angeling out the rear panel, but i found it was a pain and was easy just to take it out! This comes out as 1 whole piece, not like the bases that come out as two pieces! To take the back of the rear seat out you will need to un-bolt the bolts along the back of the seat in the boot, you will see these by lifting up the boot mat! Then you you also need to un-bolt some from other side; which have the seat belt clipy things attached to them as well!

Removing rear panel

Once that is out you can get the panel out, be carefully as the panel has pop clips all around it try and release as many of these before trying to tug the panel off! Then the panel should come off quite easy!

Fitting speaker

Then all you need to do is un-screw the speaker, sort your wires out and fit your replacement! NB: you might need drill some new holes for your new speakers!

Removing rest of seat

After fitting the first side then to get to the other side you need take the bottom half of the other seat out (basically you have to take the rear seats completely out, you could either take them all out straight away or do it as above!)

Doing the other side

Then same applies for the other side, again un-screw the phillip end screws (3 of them), un-bolt the bottom part of the seat belt near the floor; un pop the panel; sort you wires out and speaker, then bobs your uncle - two new speakers fitted!

Re-attaching everything

All that is left to do is attach everything back together, puts the seats back in and, bolt every thing back were it should go!

Hope this helps, cheers rob (1.8stilo)
