How To...?

  • Screw bolt into one end of the hose
  • Use stanley blade to make a small split (5mm) in the hose just above the bolt (this makes a crude but effective one way valve so that air doesnt enter the system)
  • Remove Wheel on position you want to bleed (Easier with the wheels off)
  • Put a rubber hose on the bleed nipple for the O/S/R calliper
  • Slacken off bleed nipple
  • Pump the brake pedal until clear fluid passes
  • Tighten the nipple and allow the pedal to return slowly under it's own return spring pressure.
  • Be sure to keep the reservoir well topped up to avoid pulling air into the system.
  • Repeat N/S/R, O/S/F, N/S/F in that order as it is essential to work from furthest line from the master cylinder to avoid any undesired effects.
