Punto (Mk2/2b) another way to paint door handles mk2 punto

Now get some degreaser does have to be anything special (i used flash kitchen degreaser with grapefruit, nice:yum and rinse in warm water and fairy liquid. done.
Now once dry get some Wet and dry (medium grit) just to smooth and allow the plastic primer to stick better. then do the same with a bit finer grade grit wet and dry.

I used a halfords paint prep wipe to remove grime, oil, wax etc. you can find them in halfords near the paints. very handy for a good finish!

now get you plastic primer (im using a hycote spray £3.99 wilco direct) shake for around 2 mins. Spray lightly across the handles then leave for 15-20 mins then repeat 3 to 4 times till complete covered. LEAVE FOR 24 HOURS or you've just wasted your time and money. its hard to just leave it but you have to.
