I've had it five months now to the day. Since day 1 I've discovered:-

You get a beep if you drive off with the handbrake on - or apply the handbrake before yuo stop :)

You can defeat the seatbelt beep by doing up your seatbelt then undoing it

I've six airbags - not four ( discovered the two in the front seats only recently!)

Today I discovered the intermittent wipe appears to be speed related ( or is it my imagination??). Don't get much rain round these parts !

The heater's pretty weak on output 1 or 2 at the face and feet setting (n)

Any "extras" you've found that you didn't know you had?

Model is a 1.4 Dynamic 8V 5D on 5200 mls now - and nicely loosened up :slayer:

Not come across the seatbelt beep trick. Mine goes mental if i just think about taking it off before the car stops!

My passengers can get round it by holding onto the sides of the seat and lifting their ass off the main bit so it doesnt set off the sensor..........not good for long journeys though.

Am still having fun going through the menu's to see what i can switch on or off, make brighter or louder! Can't do that on a crappy Fiesta! (y)

I had exactly the same idea today, but I thought it was just me. Tomorrow I will test it again and take a timer with me.

One of the things I discovered after abt 20 days that I had the car.....(and I feel bad abt not discover it earlier....:bang: ) was that the center armrest has 3 different positions...on e low one middle and one high.....mine was on high from the beginning and I was actually very pissed off in the beginning because it was not comfortable at this position....:(

The seatbelt thing I still have not managed to find a solution.....doing & undoing the belt does not do the trick.......

I was very pleasantly suprised when I noticed the rear wiper come on automatically when I selected reverse (with only the front wipers switched on).

The grey pimples on my sporting's seats annoys me more and more each day, why did they ruin an otherwise fine interior with this crap?

One other thing I found and I was really surprised / impressed:eek: is that the volume of the music automatically increases as the speed of the car increases (really this happens to all of you..??).......(y) in order to have always higher volume than the other noises (engine, wind, road, etc)....

It's really funny also,....start in the traffic light......volume goes up.....then breaks,.....volume goes down....

You can turn this off or adjust it's sensitivity in the car's menu.

After 2 months I discovered that when you're running low on fuel the car will Beep and a note LOW FUEL shows on the digital display:) . Nothing out of this world but didn't knew about it.

when you leave the windows open, you can close them by the remote control key of the car. just press two times to lock button and keep pressing on the buttun.
when unlocking the car, press two times to unlock button and keep pressin on it, 4 windows are opened :)

None of the drinks holders actually accommodate any drinking vessel/container currently on sale or in use on Planet Earth (unless you enjoy crushing your coke bottle every time you shift into 3rd gear.

The door pockets are too small.

The brakes are possibly the most responsive of any car I've ever driven.

The horn is REALLY hard to work, especially if you need to do it in a hurry. It's also really pathetic.

The wipers are indeed speed sensitive (worked this out last weekend)

It's actually a 4* safety rating, but.....

I STILL love it to bits.

Totally agree, The 5* rating is a simple 20min fix from a dealer its a simple metal plate. But I agree with everything else except the horn I find it easy to press but I agree doesn't have enough 'punch' Might upgrade mine soon :). The lack of cup holders done bother me as I seldom eat or drink in my car, Only on long journeys at which point I find the rear holder behind the handbreak adequate.
