Since the last 10 years I had the 1.2 16v Sporting and the 1.4 16v Sporting.....all I can say is that they have all been wonderful cars and despite the varius rumours about liability, etc both have proved to be fine...

The main concern regarding the GP Sporting has to do with the 95 HP and the increased weight (more than 150-200kg in total than the previous Sporting).

Are the 95 HP enough to move the GP in acceptable manner?

Therefore, I would appreciate current owners of GP 1.4 Sporting to give their views on how is the car's "nerve" , acceleration, highway running, etc.

I've got one on order but there are no 1.4 16Vs in the UK yet as they have only just gone into production for the UK market. I'm not expecting fireworks but it should have lots of character and like to be revved
