Grande punto just replaced clutch master cylinder. clutch pedal now too high 2 inches above brake pedal and pulls the rod out of the cylinder.
A rubber block fell down from somewere which i assume is a pedal return stop but i cannot see where it fits any ideas thanks:worship:

Hey pal apologies for delay, as mentioned, since not having the app anymore i find trolling the forum to not be as easy. but if you can upload a pic of this part you describe maybe to help better

I think i have found the problem :)will work on it tomorrow so fingers crossed.
It appears this block sits very high on a raised box very high up on the bulkhead behind the very top point of the pedal can only just see it but getting your hand up there is impossible :eek:so steering column out and hopefully accsess will be possible:cry:

Fixed it :) There is no pedal hight stop the hight is controled by the master cvlinder so the new cylinder (a metal one) and was faulty as it would pull the push rod out of the cylinder :cry:replaced it with a plastic one. The hard foam block was nothing more than a piece of sound deadning.
Hard to bleed but leaving the pedal wedged down overnight sorted it
Thanks to all who helped with this(y)
