Hello New to the forum!

I have a Fiat grand punto 1.2 Active and its having trouble starting up although it has never failed to as of yet. when i turn the ignition it cranks for a second goes very quiet for a few seconds and then starts. sometimes the problem dosent occur at all but its happening more frequently. Today it took a lot longer then usual and also had some mild clicking (lasted about 3 seconds but wasnt aggressive) while on start up, i didnt think it would start at all but still did. the battery seems as okay as it has a light to say its fully charged and i had a new starter put in about 6 months ago. would appreciate any ideas before i take to garage thanks

As ABOVE ..you could also take the car to Halfords who offer a free battery test. They use YUASA testing kit. This checks not only volts but the all important starting power,AMPS.

It's power related issue. Clean up battery terminals, ground connections and replace bad cables if necessary.

Battery or something else is going to fail if you don't repair it asap.
