Hi there, my name's Taylor and I've recently purchased a 2006 1.2 Grande Punto Active as my first car (not without its faults of course).

The first of which, the clutch bite point is very low (almost on the floor) is this normal? Is there a way to adjust this?

Second, my passenger side electronic mirror does literally nothing. Any idea what this could be? The drivers side works fine.

Thirdly, sometimes when I'm driving, both in town traffic and down freeflowing dual carriageways, my check engine light will come on for roughly 10 seconds or so and then just disappear for a random period of time. Is this anything to be concerned about or just a computer blip?

And finally, under braking, both my front seats seem to move about. Now, I'm not saying they slide forward considerably or anything, they just seem to move a centimetre or two leaving a very juddery ride. Is this a common thing? Any idea how to stop this? The seats will stay in their position when moving, it's just when changing gear or braking the seats clunkily judder forwards and back.

Any help would be appreciated, my car is full of scuffs and dents but seems to actually drive flawlessly. I think I made a good choice overall.

Cheers in advance

1. clutch is hydraulic, try bleeding it.
2. door mirror is likely wiring between the door and body. The wiring is a bit short and the wires break or the connector in the body corrodes.
3. engine light - any work been done recemtly?

3. 1/2 the ECU should keep track of such events, OBD it and check
4. definitely have something lose/worn at seat rack level...
