My 2008 fiat grande punto 1.4 has a warning light that flashes randomly and with that the doors lock and unlock. I cant take it to a dealer because low on funds at the moment. I also have hardly any knowledge on cars hence why im asking here. I really need help i have to drive from sussex to newcastle next week and its driving me crazy. Its really random it goes off some days like crazy and some days not at all. It will not happen for 2-3 days then go crazy then stop then start again. Please help me !

No it does start and drives perfectly. Which is why its bugging me sooooo much. The fuel cut off switch is fine. The aa came out to me and even manually set it off and reset it which did nothing. Also no errors were found from thier diagnostic either im soooo lost with this

just leave it, nothing will happen, in worst case car wont start and you will either have to press inertia switch, dunno for sure if you even have it or do the turn signals procedure to start it

The problem is the doors locking and unlocking whilest i drive. Its off putting and extremly annoying.
