Hi guys
I have a grande punto 1.4 8v recently he the alternator seize on me due to being left to sit. When refitted I fitted the battery. Started up and was greeted by ebd failure, power steering failure, dash intermittally going on and off and the car going into limp mode. Although the car start obviously is undivable with these faults. Have had Delphi diagnostics on it nothing showing. Could the alternator I fitted be faulty was not a genuine unit or is the ecu knackered.
Any ideas guys fit techs fiat yodas would be great for some advice.

tried disconnecting for an hour , and trying again..??

but just put ign. ON,
NOT cranking engine for a minute.. see what "check lights" stay illuminated..,

possibilities are LARGE , BUT cruddy fusebox, poor main EARTH, etc are far from rare..,
see the FAQ's or SEARCH..,


do you have a 12 volt meter..? - see what the battery voltages are like..static..AND under load..,
