my guess is either boot switch (in the lock) or broken wire in the boot between the hatch and the car body
Press the button on the dashboard for the boot so it opens. if the dashboard doesnt display 'boot open' then it will be a problem with your boot switch and not the fuses

My car has never said boot open. Just changed the interior light fuse and now it works cheers
