Does anyone know if the brake pads on the GP come with any kind of anti rattle shim plates on the back of the pads? Other cars i've worked with have had two metal shim plates overlapping each other on the back of the pads, as well as anti-rattle clips. Lubing these Pagid Cera-Tec Brake Lube usually does wonders and lasts far longer than copper grease. My GP has developed a huge squeal when braking, so wondering if i can lube the shims if there is any?

If you use bosch or genuine parts which are made by bosch anyway they have a anti squeel pads stuck to the back of each pad, but I have found the pagid and mintex ones dont. However you can by cut out anti squeel pads that you can stick to the back of your pads for a few quid problem solved. I personally only use bosch parts for the reason I can hate being the driver of a squeeling car lol. Hope that helps

When are they squealing? When driving, when you press the brakes gently or hard?

My 2006 1.2 was noisy when braking gently when it had worn original pads. I replaced them with some EBC ones which were better and less dusty when they wore in.
