Right I'm pretty fed up of my friend rocking LED sidelights and I'm not able to:( I really want to bite the bullet and attempt to get them working without a warning light. I feel it's pointless wasting money on halogen sidelights that just don't do what I want.

Can anybody explain to me how to fit led's and resistors and what the best bulbs/resistors are to buy.

Thanks

I have the same problem with my sidelights and numberplate bulbs :(

I can third that one, I have the xtec resisters, they work perfect.
Bought mine from Hids Direct UK, about 9.99 if I remember.
Got a pair for the side lights and number plate lights.

Richard.

I have them in my side lights and number plate lights. I used 1 resistor on my side lights n the other on my numberplate lights. So the pack of two shud be enough for all 4 bulbs. Remember leds work on + - so if dnt work at first turn them round

This is my sidelights... I know there Ice Blue but not had any hastle as of yet, need to install these resistor things then hopefully no errors ( bulbs in numberplates have fault as it shows on dash they were £1.99.. but said they are error free...)

They look cool! Thanks for all the help guys! I have no idea how to wire the resistors up and I'm a little confused on how one resistor can do two sidelights if they're different sides of the car?

Get the set I liked, will do a pair, and are in line plug and play so no wiring splicing, easy to remove when you replace the car (y)

I got some canbus blue led's from ebay, they work, but I have to put up with that warning light but a bit of tape to cover it up and no problems,
It would be nice for them to work flawlessly but ah well.

Got the old bulbs for the MOT.

Question, would the fact the display shows there is a light out be a case to fail an MOT? Even though all lights are working (assuming I had changed them to white or xeon coloured)

Buy the resistors I bought mate. Honestly one of the best £6 I've ever spent. They work perfectly
