Posts: 66 Thanks: 1 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | rusted connections causing light problems! One of the four pins on the connection on my back left light is rusted, i've tried scraping the rust off with no luck. Anyway..my back left indicator doesnt work when indicating, instead both red lights flash on the left. And when locking my car, the back right indicator flashes, along with all four red ones! Very annoying. Could anybody confirm that it is the rust doing this as £30 for a new light is pricey if it doesnt work. Thanks. Oh, it's a 1.9 multijet btw

![]() | Re: rusted connections causing light problems! try an emmery board (nail file) and or bit of emery paper rolled into a tube with the grit to the inside and jiggle up and down on the pin.. and contact cleaner solvent... (also clean the plug) Once clean and working remove plug smother in silicone grease and shove back on
