Technical 1.2 active tightening cam belt?

I could be wrong but I am sure I have read that the best way to adjust the belt is by removing the offside front wheel and arch liner mate. Before trying it may be someone else could clarify this point mate.

If your going to the hassle of removing the wheel arch liner etc. I'd be tempted to replace the belt whilst I'm there.

Belt and alternator are less than 3 months old. I just don't think it's tight enough.

see my cambelt guide i used a 3-4 ft crow bar which worked fine... Do not over tension the belt!

Yeh I've been using all sorts of long bars, but the angle to get it down the front of the alternate so as to push it away from you is very awkward. I'm gonna have to have another bash at it as there is no easy way haha. Thanks for the help.

YES , all belt stretch a little as they bed in ..,I've not got a GP - YET..!! ,
# but on my Tipo TD's access was pretty bad, I actually used the cranked handle of my trolley-jack..!!,
you could slide it into position almost flat , then twist the handle 90 degrees to give you a decent lever,
