Hello, so my Grande Punto recently gave a check engine code P0011 indicating that the "camshaft is to advance", figured it might just be the sensors but im afraid the timing belt skipped a tooth since it was a bit losened and its been 4 years since the last replacement. So the timing belt need changing eather way but my concern is can the same tool from 1.2 8v engine be used on 1.4 8v engine, they look the same but I was not able to find and document proving the compatibility between the two. Without the error code i wouldnt even use the locking tool but since it might have skipped a tooth i dont want to take any chances.
Any advice or link for a related thread is greately appreciated.
