Hello,

I'm aware there is quite a few posts regards this problem, but i'd like some input specific to my situation please.

I had my car repaired after an accident about a month ago. Two days ago my mileage started flashing on the dash I know that they had to replace a damaged door and quite a few other bits.

Do you think I should phone the repair center to ask them to sort the problem as this was something which has been caused as part of the repair? Or do you think i'm able to resolve this myself due to something completely different?

Thanks.

Not sure, but based on your information I've called the repair center who are collecting my car for inspect next week.

So I appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Shouldn't be the ODO flashing, thats a signal of a canbus issue. For service it should flash a spanner / light / message I believe.

Nah, a can go into the dash menu and set the reminder or turn it off. It's just a recomeded serive interval, dosent mean you have to get one, if you ignored it long enough it comes up.saying service coupon expired. Well mine's did

flashing mileage relates to a can error my bet is the car has been sat a while or left for a bit with the ignition on....... Low battery voltage can cause it... Whack it on charge or a long drive then take battery negative terminal off for 30 mins reconect and see how it goes
