Evening lads,

losing my posting virginity right now as im new to all of this so excuse me if ive ****ed up anywhere..

anyway, question was has anyone got eibach sportlines 30mm at back and 40ish at front with 15" alloys still??

would like to see what it looks like, whether the gap on the arches is still ridiculous or not, if so then ill have to splash some dosh out on 17" instead

cheers :D

Evening GrandePegg93 and welcome to fiat forum.

Personally I would say that 15" alloys with sportlines will not give you the desired look I think you are looking for. I would suggesting opting for some 17" alloys and then the sportlines. The wheel arch does take some filling to be honest and alot of people on here have opted for coilovers to take away the wheel arch gap.

Further, get some pics of your Grande on the forum mate with some info about it. I would suggest starting a progress thread mate as the members on here are so help and friendly and will guide you in the right direction.

Regards

Stephen

Welcome to the forum mate.
In answer to your question, SJB1985 is right. 15" on the Grande Punto is too small, even with sportlines. If you're going to stick with 15" then you'd want coilovers. Check out this guys car! https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto/304057-few-new-pictures.html he has 15" ats cups with coilovers.
But the majority of people use 17" with sportlines, that gives a great stance:)

Cheers for the reply guys, yeah ill get a few pics up in the next couple of days when i can.

alright cool, i wouldnt mind sticking to 15" just as long as the look is right, but if not 17'' it is :) my puntos a 1.2 active so making sure the 17's are as light as possible otherwise she'll probs die on me :/

i was down at trax at silverstone today and got a few tips off a few guys with their puntos. issues about making sure you buy longer nuts as the originals arent long enough for 17's and i few of their tyres have been flying off all over the place :/

Usually when you buy alloys off of a reputable company, they will provide plenty long enough nuts for the alloys, specifically for your car. I was given spigot rings with mine for my GP. 17's on the GP are the way to go, period. Without going to big, they fill the gap just perfect IMO. If you do drop yours on Eibachs, and you do opt for 17's, i can advise you DON'T get low profile tyres, get chunkier tyres. IMHO (y)

Arhh alright thats good then :)

surely you can only get a certain thickness of tyre for 17's otherwise the speedo will be out due to the overall diameter of the tyre? as mine has 15's as the original tyre size
