I seem to have a really big problem, after my dads brilliant idea of getting something out Of the back of my 3dr grande punto he pulls the latch and it doesn't work straight away, typically he just yanks as hard as he can forward an violently pushes it around and breaks the latch I've taken the car to fiat in ram worth and sorry I've never been treated like such a idiot and lied to in my life being told it shouldn't take more than 3 hours at max, then being rang 3 hours later asking me if they can take the side of the seat off, that's why I bought it on for god sake. rant over there I've just had a phone call saying that the latch holding on the seat release cable at the bottom
is broken and they dont think they can fix it and I'll need a new seat. I'm really needing some help on if I can do a repair myself and if this isn't just someone who CBa to fix it for me.

little note to add onto the problem I've just asked the dealer and they say the seat frame itself is bent or moved and they can't guarantee that putting a new hook there will work.... and they wanted £128 to put this release cable on and the small hook/latch ... daylight robbery

anyone got any ideas please ?

Try to buy a whole seat from a dismanteled car...
