Hi Everyone

Im from South Africa a place called Durban.
I have recently bought a Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active 5dr.
however i found out that Accessories for this vehicle is hard to come by, even the dealership does not know where i could source anything from something as simple as mud flaps to rear lights.
I was wondering if there is anybody that is from SA preff from Durban that knows where i could get Accessories for my vehicle.

i even asked the fiat dealership for a simple item of mudflaps and they siad they dont have for the grande punto nor any accessories for the car. they didnt even know where i could get anything

Deenap: good luck on getting your accessories! I don't really have any help to offer (being from the UK) but just think it's great to hear from somebody so far away.

I didn't realise how difficult it can be to get hold of simple things elsewhere e.g. your mudflaps

yip its difficult getting stuff here, the thing is that Fiat isnt such a big name in SA. vw and toyota dominate here and accessories can be bought at any place and at a cheap price aswell.

the grande punto's in SA can be counted on the roads if you lucky to spot any.

the punto's seem to be a good car, i own mine for almost a month now. i hear the service cost is quiet alot on these cars here in SA, they should have given us a rebate for the support considering the sloooooow sales here. i was told the first service here is R2200.00 i still have up untill next year to do my first service.

Yeah! in the UK, there are tons of GrandePuntos! see them absolutely everywhere..

Just done a quick conversion, that service would cost £176 here :O

its hard to see a punto here, and you should see the looks i get driving around ...lol
its as if i have personally imported my car

i could get the service done by a cheaper dealer but my car is a 2012 model and has a 3 year warranty, so my warranty will void in that event

so im forced to do so.

yes i have pics but its pretty much standard, apart for the carbon fibre i used on the front where the number plate is an where the fog light covers are. let me try and upload it. i havent taken a good shot of it as yet.

sorry buddie, i dont have any latest ones on my phone, i will send them tomorrow as im gonna be doing carbon fibre on my door pillars

Lol its cool, I also take an interesst in other far off places, yes I was born in SA and its really a nice place to live in, I live in a suburb called Phoenix that is in Durban.really quiet place. Have a look at my neighbour hood.
