Surely if you've gone to the effort of posting on here, you could at least give a few more details?

Which model grande do you have?
Engine size?
Year of reg?
Does the car start and run?
How many miles you done?

A few extra minutes thinking before you post, works wonders, we're all happy to help on here if we have enough details :)

I think taking it to a dealer or auto electrician might be a good starting point.

MIGHT.

You could, of course, continue driving it without a working speedo or indicators and wait for lots of people to post solution guesses on here. Much more fun.

Why the Hostility guys shes asking for help if your not going to help and start bickering like a bunch of gumpy old men take it to spamalot and bray each other with your walking sticks there ...... :bang:

Early Grande puntos had this "fault" has it been dealership serviced from new?

If so it should have had a software update to solve this (assuming your indicators also do also not appear to work ((or rather the indicators work outside the car if you turn them on and have a look outside but no clicking or little green arrow inside))

Do you get several warning lights eg the ABS light and others?

And on most occasions the Stereo will also display "CANCHECK"

a sort term fix can be achieved usually by removing the battery negative quick release terminal and leaving for 20-30 mins to reset / re sinc the CAN nodes

( To try and explain this simply the car has a computer network in it, and each bit (node) thats attached to the computer has a Timer circuit in it so it knows when to talk to the computer with out interrupting another node that's Talking If these nodes go out of time they talk over each other and the computer cant interpret the data its getting so throws a strop and sulks)
