Just wondering what you all reckon,

been to gate way auto tints today and been quoted £150 for black roof wrap. The guy said they use something like 'M8 material' or soemthing like that, which is why it's expensive

What you reckon? Good deal/bad deal?

I got my roof and spoiler done for £115.

i was quoted 115-120 depending on if i wanted the spoiler doing.

yeah like I said on my thread i paid 200 for windows aswel, Id say that might be a bit steep, but if its local and trustworthy go for it.

Mine was 200 for Roof, spoiler and windows

hmm from the replies it does seem a bit steep.

But tbh, its just round the corner and used them before so might just go with them.

Guy who did my roof said he'd charge about £90 if that helps you with price ideas. Hes not a professional though.

Deadlydecals.com will do it for £70 with a guarantee. Depends where your based.

There is a DIY kit on ebay for £30 with proper vinyl. Not some cheap rubbish. Depends how much you trust yourself to do it. I'm doing my own in the new year so I'll let you know.

yeah let me know mate, not having mine done until new year anyway.

im based in sheffield/rotherham, maybe it would be worth the journey to save money and get a guarantee?

You need a gaurantee, i got a lifetime on mine. that doesnt look right..gaurante? Hmm lol think thats hw its spelt

yeah suppose i do, maybe the guy who quoted me includes a guarantee, no idea. But to be honest, if there are places offering £80 + guarantee then prob worth it.

what exactly do guarantees cover? Damage, coming loose etc?

the guarantee would normally be down to the discression of the person who applied it, if you bring it back with a fault that they believe is a result of a problem with the vinyl or its application they are likely to fix it, if you manage to rip half of it off using a high powered jet wash they are unlikely to fix it for free. Generally if it starts peeling, coming loose or something they will fix it

Just wondering, did anybody else have any trouble getting in touch with DeadlyDecals?

They have emailed back once with a price but not again.

I have rang both contact numbers several days and it just goes through to their answering machine.

Can i presume it is because of the christmas/new year period?
