this is an armpit, its as relevant to the conversation as your picture and i'd like to know what you all think of it?

just wonder who the tool was in the Blue GP this evening  As i went through Goole tonight seeing you been chased by one of those new white BMW cars with the Blue flashing lights on the roof........ since you did nearly the whole main street before pulling over i assume your car is fast or your mirrors dont work ........... :nono:

iv had a race with my buttys a3 1.8t thats running 240bhp ish and he struggled to pull away up to about 25mph, n he was gone. so he probably was trying.

You cant get an RS8

That's why I didn't say RS8, I know that the 'special' Audis are RS something, but after googling RS8 I couldn't find anything. But I do believe it was an S8.

i'd like to add its not my armpit,

Bet you're quite glad, its a tiny amount of armpit hair compared to his facial hair, quite funny imo.

As I only have a 1.2 I wouldn't even attempt any of what you guys are talking about :p but I found myself at a set of traffic lights one night with a nice long road in front of me. An 05 fiesta turned up next to me and started eyeing up my car so I revved a bit, he was giving me the right evils and also started revving a bit. He knew what was going to happen so as the lights turned green he revved like crazy and sped off while I just sat at the lights for a couple seconds then took off very slowly.......he must have felt like such a knob (thats if his ripspeed alloys hadn't already) :)

The GP does have relatively good power as standard. I have yet to drive a re-mapped one though.

Ive shown up a guy and his burd in a 3 series (badged 330 with a pea shooter exhaust), an alfa gtv, Saxo/c2 vtr and a few others. 1.2 corsas are fun aswell.

There are plenty of cars out there that would lose a gp if they wanted to though.

P.S going off topic again, matt, did you sell your car?

Everyone who has seen my car asked what engine is in it, 100% guessed wrongly as no one seems to know there is even a sporting version let alone a turbo one :D

can we stop braggin it makes me sad! less then a week since i lost the gp and im regreting it!

vag diesels are crap!

when i did have it the clios used to get a nice suprise! theres nothing better then beating an exoctic hot hatch in a fiat punto, then just to top it off, a little fart of black smoke just to say yeah its a derv!:slayer:

Any 1.2 corsa that overtakes me can't hack it when I show them up!! they seem to see a bright yellow grande and think 'I'll blow this car away'

suckers!!!

When I first got the mjet I had a ford Ka fly past me on the dualer so kept up to XXXmph then backed off because I like my licence too much, then totally whipped it and a citreon ZX off the traffic lights!

TBH as long as I can overtake miss daisy comfortably, then I tend not to blast everywhere!!!

I do think people underestimate gps in general, when I tell people at work I have got a Grande Punto they automatically assume it’s a 1.2/1.4 petrol. They don’t expect that sort of car to be packing 130 bhp standard.
The only place the mjet lets it’s self-down is off the line (A) it just spins the wheel in 1st and 2nd gear, in the wet this is twice as bad and (B) you run out of rpm so quick in 1st and 2nd 4k rpm isn’t much to play with considering even the worst petrols will got to 6.5K and don't get me started on VTECT  (I think it is unsporting :D) not even worth attempting to race that off the line.
Once in third gear and with a nice warm engine then you can put a few chavs in their place tho:)

Im going to hav to disagree with part of this...

When driven correctly my car grips 100% off the line through all gears ( in the dry ) and thats why I manage to get good 1/4mile times and embarrass cars here and there. But as you said, in the wet, its a different matter :)
