AS the title says, has anyone taken the dash out? The information I'm actually after is how much "space" is there between the top of the dashboard and the centre air vents? or is there anything else in the way?

heater box? :s do you know if there is room to "slightly" detour the ducting? I'm planning to put something sort of in the top of the dash. is the dash touching the stuff underneath or is there a bit of room? say 6 inches or so?
take radio out then the switchbank above it which comes out with vents...all you will see is top of heater box.
I seem to remember a thread in here about someone who had been unfortunate enough to have the entire dash removed and nicked out of his GP while he was on his jollies. It included several interior pics of the car....... sans` dash.
Any other lifers remember it?..... Foxxy?..... Matt?.......I think it might have been posted by the guy who had one of the first white GPs and worked at that garage on the Horeshoe roundabout in Parr St Helens but I cant remember his name.
