Hi all, what sort of mpg can i expect to get general griving? also are they better on fuel when mapped?
Thanks in advance guys:)
P.S. may be buying one in the next couple of days!

I get around 36-45 around town and anything up to 50 on motoways!
I didn't notice a difference after the remap, I never do the same trip twice though so I can't compare, I think most ppeople notice 2/3 mpg more

Most people tend to say 35-45 Standard and if you drive the same way 40-50 after map. Depends on your driving habits and the routes you take, a longer motorway drive is going to push you toward 50 but a stop start town drive is going to take its toll and bring it down to the 35 region.

Then again i can get 50 or 30 if i want too across a week.

Have a quick search as there seems to be a fair few threads discussing this. Heres quite a lengthy one https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto/162703-m-jet-mpg.html

155 mile round trip from Telford to Liverpool Albert Dock yesterday, back route no motorways, if anyone knows A41 / A49? Raining, twisty fairly quick roads, stop - start ish in places etc...

49.8Mpg which will do me nicely :D (y)

Swansea-Coventry-Swansea (340miles) at a steady 70-75mph, 53.3mpg, despite some stop-start traffic and heavy rain in Wales. Overall, mixed driving conditions will give anything between 42-48mpg, in town however that drops to 35-38mpg. Remap has not improved fuel consumption, in fact, it is slightly lower than before, about 2-3% more fuel than before. Mind you, the car as standard had 140hp, now it has 172hp, so I am well impressed by current fuel consumption.

Mine never dips below 45 even when Im out on one of my weekend blasts

wow that is good...

mine has dropped a 2/3mpg now the cold weather has started with it taking longer to get upto temperature... i still get 40mpg round town now and low to mid 40's on my combined driving and long trips see low 50's.. You guys claiming better consumption seem to have done a fair few more miles so cant wait till mines ran in an it gets better *fingers crossed* :)
